I took the film to at least be implying that the Antifa assault team were possibly agents of the AI company.

I just instantly viewed them as the "real" Antifa and found it so hilarious I didn't consider any other options.

I've gone back and forth. I think the film wants to keep both interpretations alive.

You thought that was an “antifa” attack? I thought it was a right-wing paramilitary group. It was impossible to tell what that paranoid armed group was. The film was thoroughly confusing.

Also the mother-in-law, aide, and brain-dead sheriff are all sleeping in the same bed at the end. Riddle me that.

The problem with Eddington is that it's like looking at Youtube for 5 minutes (with a little excess at the end). It doesn't transcend, illuminate, or evoke beyond that.
